Stay: Lower Manhattan has many options close to campus including The Beekman, Aloft Manhattan, AKA Wall Street, Four Points by Sheraton Downtown, and the Andaz Wall Street.

Coffee: There’s a Starbucks right on campus at One Pace Plaza, and many of NY’ers favorite coffee shops are nearby including Birch, Aroma, and Irving Farm. Just a quick walk from campus students steered us to R and R Coffee on Fulton Street and Gold Street where you can also get a Dough donut to go along with your morning brew.

Breakfast: GFG Bakery is a tiny shop just a few minutes walk from campus specializing in sweet & savory Greek pastries, sandwiches, salads & coffee drinks. In addition to great coffee, Black Fox Coffee Co. has an extensive menu of breakfast sandwiches and toasts. For something quick and healthy grab a fresh juice at Pressed Juicery, just a five-minute walk from Pace. Leo's Bagels is a local haunt for hand-rolled bagels and traditional spreads.

Lunch: In addition to hot dogs, buttermilk battered crispy chicken fingers, sandwiches, and burgers with all the fixings; Schnippers also offers healthy salad options for those who like to eat on the lighter side. There are always tons of enticing sides, recent visit standouts included the Schnipper's Slaw made with kale and cabbage and sweet potato fries with an addictive maple dipping sauce. A big plus for students is that they accept Pace Flex Dollars. Other nearby favorites includes Adrienne's Pizza Bar, Rosella’s Pizza, GRK, Casa Toscana, and Westville Wall Street.  Also in the area fun places to visit are the Italian food emporium Eataly and a gourmet food court at Brookfield Place called Hudson Eats with vendors such as Mighty Quinn, Umani Burger, and Fuku.

Dinner

Casual: Some of the top tables in the Financial District include Felice15 Gold Street, Keste Wall Street, Fish Market, and Schilling.

A Step Up: Danny Meyer’s Manhatta is sixty floors up offering dramatic views of downtown Manhattan, the East River, the Manhattan Bridge, and Brooklyn. Be warned this is a fine dining establishment and is pricey, with a strictly three-course prix fixe dinner menu for $88. Augustine in the Beekman Hotel is a brasserie by Keith McNally serving high-end French dishes, steaks & cocktails.

More Eats: If you are venturing away from the Pace campus some of our favorite NY restaurants downtown, include Via Carota, L’Artusi, Uncle Boons, Don Angie, Café Altro Paradiso, Pasquale Jones, The Beatrice Inn, Rubirosa, Momofuku Noddle Bar, and Madame Vo.

Local Attractions: The campus is walking distance to well-known New York City sites including Wall Street, the World Trade Center, World Financial Center, South Street Seaport, Chinatown and Little Italy. Our sister site Daytripper 365 has many NYC itineraries including a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, exploring the 911 Museum, and visiting uptown museums such as the Cooper Hewitt and Guggenheim.
